Unfortunately Ben didn't get a turkey on the first day, which it would have been cool for her to see that. She was excited and ready for dad to shoot the turkey but she did have fun and saw lots of things in the woods that day.
Ben said:
Well, she got to see a coyote, three deer, a hen turkey and a feral cat up close. There was a tom gobbling behind us, but he was being pretty quiet, so she couldn't hear it. She was very excited for me to shoot one if it came by the decoys, so maybe next time.
I thought it was cute because Ben said that Tayah was looking with the binoculars and spotted the coyote first and said in a whisper, "dad, look a coyote."

| Tayah was home that morning by 8:00 and crawled into my bed and fell asleep at 10:00 and didn't wake up until 2:00 that afternoon. |

Collin is working on cutting his bottom two teeth at this very second. It isn't going that great either. He has been sleeping pretty good for the most part at night. During the day he is fussy and wants to be held the majority of the time. SOON, very soon...that is what I am telling myself. I can see the two little bumps under his gums they just need to break their way through. We are living on tylenol and Hylands teething gel. He is like a little bird and sees the syringe coming and just opens his mouth. No arguments about that. It helps and he knows it.
On a happier note he now says, "mama" and not just babbling either (is anyone surprised that, that is his first word?). I'm pretty sure he knows what he is saying and knows that it means ME this time and will say it or repeat it when asked. He also does pat-a-cake and "So BIG". Also, moving everywhere and getting into things he shouldn't, like the TV cabinet, and climbing through the legs of the kitchen chairs until he gets stuck. Yeah, he is a lot of fun!
