Hilton Head Island, SC

We are a couple weeks back from our trip to South Carolina. We had a great family vacation with the kids. Spent much of our time at the beach, swimming in the ocean, and the pool. We took a day and spent some time in Savannah, Georgia. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

T-ball Time

It's Tayah's first year of T-ball. It's made of kids 5 and 6 years old so first and second year players. Tayah really hadn't ever played an actual game of baseball before so she was a little in the dark when she joined. I pretty much just said, "Tayah want to play T-ball" and she said "okay", and that was that. I wanted her to do something this summer so she wouldn't get bored and to keep her out of trouble. If it sounds like I wanted her to do something to tire her out, that is EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO!! She has only had 2 games so far and overall is making mass improvements from her first practice. Catching is something to be worked on but everything else is going well....as long as there are no more injuries during the games. We've had 1 skinned knee and 1 bonked nose with a ball. Minor injuries none the less but for Tayah and how well she does with pain, it was a BIG DEAL. Anyway...hoping for an injury free rest of the season.

Up to bat.

Made it to 1st.

Collin likes watching his big sister play.

Outfield...very into it.

Babies

My first baby graduated from preschool on Friday...onto KINDERGARTEN.

Getting her certificate.

We spent the last hour of the day celebrating with Tayah at school. Here is Collin joining circle time.

On Saturday, I got a call from my mom that her stray little kitty that she took in about a month ago had given birth to 4 babies in her office while she was out grocery shopping. We came over immediately and she then had 1 more. So 5 little baby kitties. They are pretty cute!! Growing up I had always wanted one of our cats  to have baby kitties and who would have known that I'd have to wait until I was 31 for that to happen. Tayah loves them and could watch them all day. And NO we are not taking one home. We have 2 dogs and a cat for now and that is plenty. So if anyone wants a kitty they will be ready to leave mama in about 6 weeks.

Sunday, Tayah and I had a fun "Girls Only" day at the Mall of America.
We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

We did Build a Bear after lunch.

We saw the Princess Diana display.

Mother's Day

This is not the greatest photo but if you even knew how difficult it was to even get this one, you would understand.
Had a wonderful mother's day with my kids. They got me some new lulu workout attire. They know exactly what mom likes :). Spent the day visiting with Grandma Val and Grandma Marlene and the rest of the Stumpf side. I have so many great mother's in my life if was a beautiful day to spend with all of them.

This week...A certain little girl graduates from preschool. AHHHHH!!! We are having a mommy and daughter date on Sunday to celebrate. We are going to see the Princess Diana exhibit at the Mall of America.

Mexico

Ben and I spent 4 days last week in Riviera Maya, Mexico with our friends, Levi and Steph. It was a great little getaway to rest and recover.
